The project

Kuarco designed and built MedVision end to end: a multi-tenant SaaS where every clinic operates with isolated data, on infrastructure that scales with each new location and specialty. It brings together scheduling, medical records, dental charting, electronic invoicing, inventory, payroll and reporting, with artificial intelligence built into medical workflows: clinical notes generated from the consultation, assisted reading of X-rays and lab results, and SofIA, an agent that analyzes the clinic's operation.

What we built

  • Multi-tenant architecture with per-clinic data isolation
  • Scalable infrastructure with daily backups and geographic redundancy
  • AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, MFA and role-based permissions
  • AI-structured clinical notes from the consultation recording
  • Per-tooth digital dental chart, periodontal chart and phased treatment plans
  • AI-assisted reading of X-rays and lab results
  • SofIA, an agent that analyzes operations and answers business questions
  • Native electronic invoicing in 6 Latin American countries
  • Specialty-specific templates and fields, plus multi-location consolidation

The challenge

  • 01Serving many clinics from one platform without mixing their data
  • 02Protecting sensitive clinical information with access controls and audit trails
  • 03Scaling from one clinic to multi-location networks without redesigning the platform
  • 04Bringing AI into the real clinical workflow, not a separate chatbot
  • 05Adapting forms and reports to specialties with very different needs

Results

  • 42

    Modules on the same database

  • Electronic invoicing in 6 countries

  • Implementation in 3 to 7 days per clinic

  • Each clinic's data isolated and auditable
